Yep. I've have already asked on their forum for there to be a definite
mounting-hole form factor sorted out before the release of the next
major version -- not just for mounting the board, and cases, but for the
benefit of other things like mounting daughterboards. If you had
mounting holes you wouldn't even need a case, you could just sandwich
the thing between two bits of perpex on plastic pillars. With the holes,
I think it could be a great crossover product. For instance, I think
it'd be brilliant for wifi webcams and home security systems, and wifi
harddrive docks.
But maybe they're planning on tackling the school electronics market
first and embedded systems later. They probably won't start getting
really meaningful feedback about the features it needs until the first
batch have been played with by users (which should hopefully be very soon).
