Prevention Strategies for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs): 15 – 20 July 2012
Applications are now open for this new accredited event comprising a five-day short course in developing prevention strategies for NCDs and a free one-day workshop on policy development and implementation issues in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs).
The course is presented by the University of Oxford’s British Heart Foundation Health Promotion Research Group (Department of Public Health) and Continuing Professional Development Centre (Department for Continuing Education), and the workshop is organised jointly with the World Health Organization.
The rich and intensive programme is delivered by internationally renowned experts in the field through keynote lectures, fora, group sessions and one-to-one tutorials. This event will take place at Jesus College, Oxford and includes social activities and plenty of networking opportunities. Residential and non-residential options available.
