Peter and (perh.) Andrew. Paul's on the other side.
Otherwise you're spot on. The angels serve as deacons; the implement each is holding is a rhipidion. The Latin equivalent for that is _flabellum_ and the purpose is the same in each instance: shooing flies and other small insects. For some greater detail, see Linda Safran here (in Google Books):
