It sounds like you're referring to (some) analytic philosophers, like
those who signed the protest letter when Derrida was awarded an
honorary doctorate from Cambridge in 1992:

I don't think one can assert that "philosophers" in general take this
or that stance towards Derrida's work, or that 'there's no philosophy
in it', since it depends on what which philosophers you have in mind
and what you mean by 'philosophy'. It is also a statement that would
presumably include the many 'Continental' philosophers responding to
Derrida in different ways, unless a philosopher working with Derrida
ceases to be one precisely on that account! Just what counts as
'philosophy', as well as who gets to speak on behalf of
'philosophers', are questions that Derrida engaged with throughout his
career, both in his writings and in his institutional activism.
