<sip> The example I described was a group of people discussing an artefact
that represented both selected parts of a set of research data AND ALSO a
selected part of data analysis. What was produced from the discussion was
the generation of BOTH analysis of the artefact and more data which is
incorporated into the research design. This is a methodological innovation
in the particular setting in which the research is positioned. Yet what was
ALSO produced was an opportunity for me to express something with which I
had been grappling in my data analysis, and which will now be worked into
the thesis as a knowledge product generated through my research. <endsip>
Sounds interesting.
I like the idea of including a discussion about the research project's data
and findings as part of the project.
To do it as part of the analysis is even more interesting.
