Position available for a Research Associate (6 months maternity cover) at King's College London
We are seeking to recruit a temporary Research Associate to a challenging and varied position in which the post holder will contribute to a large multi-site NIHR funded programme of research on Donation, Transplantation and Ethnicity (DonaTE) at King's College London (Guys campus).
The post holder will be a member of the core team (PI Prof Myfanwy Morgan)and will have responsibility for undertaking qualitative data analysis and writing reports and papers. The postholder will also contribute to the general running of the programme with the DonaTE team and may undertake some semi-structured interviews with transplant patients.
The successful applicant will have previous qualitative research experience, ideally in an academic environment, together with a background in Social Science, Sociology, Research Methods or a related subject. Demonstrable high level organisation and time management skills, and strong communication skills are essential.
Salary: The appointment will be made within the Grade 6 scale, currently £33,193, per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Post duration: The appointment available is until end June 2012.
