Organisational Change for Sustainability: Learning from Experiences
4-5 November 2011, University of Gloucestershire
Are you interested in catalysing change for sustainability in your organisation?
Dear Colleague,
The UNU RCE Severn is pleased to invite you to a two-day event which will introduce you to the most innovative models in the art of transforming institutions towards sustainability.
The event is led by two international respected leaders, Mitch Thomashow and Leith Sharp, who are winners of various awards for their successes in leading change for sustainability. Mitch Thomashow leads a new program which is designed to assist the executive leadership in promoting a comprehensive sustainability agenda. Leith Sharp has spent the last 19 years working to drive sustainability into the core business of the higher education sector. Leith has developed a variety of insights, frameworks and approaches on organisational change for sustainability which she has shared as a speaker, teacher and consultant, both nationally (USA) and internationally.
The event will be opened by Professor Daniella Tilbury, an international expert in institutional change for sustainability with experience across several sectors. The event provides the opportunity to collaboratively reflect on various frameworks for change as well as on our roles and experiences as change agents for sustainability within our organisations.
This UNU RCE event is relevant to those engaged in change for sustainability in the higher and further education, business, public, health and non-governmental sectors.
