Dear zooarchers,
While studying the faunal material from an Upper Palaeolithic assemblage I have found some measurements of ibex bones indicating a very large size reached by this species in the past. Does anyone know of any published work reporting measurements of ibex bones? I am particularly interested in finding out about the upper limit of the size range of this species. The great majority of measurements I have belong to astragalus and phalanges (due to the high fragmentation of long bones in the assemblage).
thank you very much for any help and suggestions!
