We start the exams at 9am and 1.30pm to ensure that late comers still get the chance to do the exams. Our invigilators tend to come in an hour before the start time to set up. Sometimes if we are using the sports hall we allow 1.25 hours to get everything ready to start on time.

Subject: Exam Start Times?
What times do you start your JCQ exams? Up until 5 years ago we started at 9.30am and 14.00pm. I changed the times so that the exams started at the official starting time, however with the number of exams and students we run the exams staff feel they need to start at 7.30 to enable them to get sorted for invigilators arriving.
Our invigilators set up the rooms and are given 45mins prior, so they start arriving around 7.45-8.15am.
