Regarding the BAWE Corpus, I'm posting this email on behalf of my colleague, Professor Hilary Nesi, who is the person to contact re. BAWE.
Best wishes,

Dear Ida,
Try going to www.coventry.ac.uk/bawe - there’s plenty there about the British Academic Written English corpus (BAWE), including an Excel file of holdings, relevant publications and details of how to obtain the corpus from the Oxford Text Archive.
BAWE is searchable online via Sketch Engine - see the 'search the BAWE corpus' section of the site where there is also a manual about how to use Sketch Engine with BAWE. It's a very powerful tool but it takes a bit of time getting used to, which is why the team is now working on a new interface which will make corpus searches much more intuitive.
A trial version of the new interface should be ready within the next few days, and they are looking for volunteers to try it out. The blog http://cuba.coventry.ac.uk/wordtree explains the project.
Please contact Hilary Nesi [log in to unmask] about this and any other queries concerning BAWE.
