I (and past colleagues) would be intrigued to know what search terms
you used & what tools, as they would like their stuff to be more
findable. Although if you only searched the archives of this list,
you may not have found anything. But read on...

Past colleagues of mine at ULCC and present ones at UKOLN collaborated
on a project called PoWR (preservation of web resources) which,
amongst other things, produced some advice on the preservation
of blogs. We realised it was a potentially complex problem which
might admit to some relatively straightforward solutions.
One attempt to produce one was
ArchivePress, a specially-configured Wordpress installation that
uses a blog to archive other blogs. I had hopes that ULCC would
create a subscription service from this but I don't think it's
come to pass.
Something else that won't offer results you can use today, but
may do so in the future, is the EU-funded blogforever project.

the handbook link in particular)

Hope that's of some use.
