Subject: total cholesterol to HDL ratio
Dear colleagues,
I would appreciate some feedback on what interpretation / range / advice labs attach to results of total cholesterol to HDL ratio.
Lab Tests Online quotes less than 5 as desirable. I've seen other lists of relative risk (versus 'average') for various values of the ratio but not a lot of hard background data.
Any help appreciated.
best wishes.
