Dear Zooarchers,
it is with great sadness that I'd like to let you know that Marek
Zvelebil has died. Although not a zooarchaeologist, Marek will be
known to many on this list for his work on the European Mesolithic and
Neolithic, and for his keen interest in the role that animals played
in these early societies. We have lost a valuable colleague and
friend.
