I am currently planning a programme of user engagement events in addition to regular reading group and story times sessions. I would be interested to hear about any activities, events and promotions that other library services have organised. If possible the following information would be very useful:
• Description of the event
• Target audience
• How was the event funded?
• Was the event organised and delivered in partnership with other organisations?
• What input was required by library staff?
• How did you promote the event?
• What were the challenges and how were these overcome? Would you do anything differently with hindsight?
• How was the event evaluated?
If I have any responses I will collate and share them with the list.
