Dear colleagues,
Leaving out any discussion on whether one should or should not measure anion
gap, could I ask those labs which do measure anion gap in serum/plasma which
formula you use (including potassium or not). Opinions / research on the
pros and cons of the different calculations would be welcome also. We have
conflicting demands from different clinical teams for each calculation and
we need to resolve this very soon.
