Hi Sergio,
Thankyou for the reminder.
To help you in advance, this is our intention.
We will submit one, probably two abstracts on the carboneras fault. These will be essentially the same as at Vienna. We actually already have posters so they could anyway be used to add decoration to the poster hall. I am not sure whether they should be submitted as talks as well (you didn't give an option for an abstract for BOTH). We haven't done any Carboneras talks before on the present work.
There will be one on deformation of mica (for a talk)
There should be a talk on serpentinite/talc faults.
There should be a poster on friction on variously angled sawcuts.
I might do a poster on Mam Tor.
I guess we have to make all our decisions during the next days.
Is there a preferred orientation for the A0 poster (rather smaller than Vienna).
Kate and I will be there, and I hope to persuade her to go on both field trips, although she might insist on just one (probably the first one).
You should persuade Guillermo Booth Rea at Granada to be at the meeting with his team. He is the first person working in the south that I've found to be a really original and lateral thinker.
Do you have a hotel recommendation?
Ciao
Ernie
