Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Transport at UCL
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at UCL is renowned for its radical and innovative approach to teaching and for the breadth and variety its research We are seeking a talented individual to strengthen the teaching and research capacity in the transport area and to complement existing expertise within the Centre for Transport Studies. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards teaching the MSc Transport and other programmes within the department as required, and to develop a portfolio of internationally excellent research.
The expected start date is 1 September 2011
Key Requirements
The candidate will have postdoctoral research experience in an area related to transport. They should have demonstrated a capability of initiating and conducting exciting research that challenges conventional thinking and approaches. They should be an enthusiastic educator with the aptitude to develop existing courses and to instigate new teaching areas and methods.
