Greetings Esteemed Design Education Community Members,
This is Dori Tunstall of Swinburne Faculty of Design. As you may know, I
am a jury captain for the inaugural Core77 Design Awards Program, a
progressive, industry-supporting initiative that honors excellence in a
broad spectrum of design. Core77 has established a new category, Design
Education Initiatives, which seeks entries about any educational class
project, curriculum, or institutional level program that furthers the
practice of design education. I am really excited about this category as
one of the first to recognize outstanding contributions to design
education.
I'd like to ask you to consider entering some of your outstanding design
education projects, curriculum, or programs completed during the 2010
year. Core77 have created a succinct and web-savvy entry process, an
innovative judging process, and priced the entry fees affordably.
You can find all the information at the site: http://awards.core77.com
The deadline for entry is Tuesday May 10 at 11.59pm Pacific Time.
As a final favor, I’m asking you to forward this email to schools and
programs that you know may be interested in submitting their projects,
curriculum, and programs. Core77 is the oldest, most established design
site, so the exposure that winning school projects and programs receive
will be enormous.
Many thanks for your time and assistance.
Best,
Dori Tunstall
