Good afternoon All,
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this one: can wearing safety goggles (in a cleanroom environment) cause headaches? Has anyone ever heard of this before?
I've been asked to assess an employee to identify if there are any underlying medical conditions that would cause him to have headaches upon wearing goggles.
The employee is undergoing cross-training in order to move to a new area: the manager suggests that the goggles/headache issue may be due to the fact that employee just doesn't want to move jobs.
I'd be very interested to read your views and experiences before I see this gentleman.
My initial approach will be to take his history, do a vision test, and if necessary advise him to see his GP/Optician. (And check the fit of his goggles).
All views appreciated.
Many thanks
Roisin
