Hello
We are about to pilot Wimba Pronto, the academic-centric instant messaging
service, with a new cohort of part time MBA students who spend almost all
their time off campus.
If anyone in another HE library is already using or piloting this software
and is able and willing to share some of the experiences with me, it would
be great if you would get in touch. I am particularly interested in
student uptake
types of enquiry it has encouraged (plus how you manage the more involved
research enquiries, where relevant)
Pronto features that have more/less success (e.g. audio, video, whiteboard
etc.)
I am happy to share experiences for anyone interested, with permission
from contributors.
Kind regards
Jane Marshall
