Dear friends and colleagues,
I have posted 5 photos of a mystery jaw on flickr. This specimen is not from an archaeological assemblage but it was found embedded in the clay collected by colleagues during a field trip to sample different sources of clay on the greek island of Aegina. They were intrigued by the specimen and I thought it would be nice to give them the pleasure of getting it identified. It looks like a fish jaw to me (or even reptile?). Whoever would like to play around please have a look and let me know what you think about it. Any level of identification will be welcomed by my colleagues.

Thank you all in advance,
