Interesting that demands of celibacy include both priests and deacons.
What about sub-deacons?
None of this becomes an issue in Iceland until the 13th c.

the practice that late was, apparently, a bit more common in England
(10% of
the clergy of London were "married"??) than on the continent, but i
believe
that Orderic Vital mentions a married canon of Chartres in the 11th c.
and
Bishop Ivo excommunicated a married deacon in the cathedral, c. 1100.
