Apologies for this plea for help - not what this list is designed for, but I'm at a loss to know how else to proceed...
It seems as though the search facilities on all the Talis Engage Community Information databases in the UK went offline yesterday - I know that those in Camden, Coventry and Edinburgh are all returning a message "The system is unable to carry out your request due to an unexpected problem..."
So far so mundane, but what is concerning me is the total uncontactability of Talis with regard to this issue - I and my IT colleagues have left several emails and voicemails since Monday afternoon. Apart from a bland "We are looking into this issue" email there has been no response for over 24 hours.
Since their takeover by Capita Talis has changed its fault reporting system to an email-based system, with no "official" phone no. for reporting problems (I am aware of one or two unofficial numbers, but can't raise a response on any...). Has anybody on this list succeeded in speaking to a living person at Talis Engage since yesterday afternoon who is able to shed light on this major problem, or has been able to reassure them that it is being dealt with? And if so could you share your contact information?
