Starting salary from £30,870 - £35,788 per annum with further progression opportunities to £39,107
The School of Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Archaeology to undertake the delivery of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and contribute to the research and enterprise activities of the School.
You will have a relevant PhD and preferably post-doctoral level research experience. You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of a range of existing taught modules preferably in the area of environmental archaeology and/or bioarchaeology. Those who can demonstrate a strategic fit to other aspects of the Archaeology Group’s research areas and teaching commitments are encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of staff within the School gaining experience of both education and research, and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will make a significant contribution to the research activities of the Archaeology Group. An immediate start date of 1 May 2011 is necessary to provide teaching cover from the start of the next academic year.
