Subject: Re: Referral admin
The original query was actually just about me getting earache from a
patient for taking a week to do a routine referral , (patient phoned
recep at least 8 times over the week) because of the volume of other
work flying around this week and feeling a bit put out because I felt
a 1 week turnaround wasn't bad and I had already worked an extra 8
hours in "own time" at home and at w/e to try and keep up.
Having heard that you lot all self type as you go, use voice
recognition, do choose and book and "choice" as you go, probably do
all your QOF tasks and no doubt are patient centred, and turn around
your insurance medicals within a week, keep on top of your incoming
blood results (surely more than a 1 day delay looking at the results
is negligent) and no doubt see the bottom of your in tray every day, I
now feel very inadequate. So thanks for nothing :-(
I'm going to have to book in some extra "reflective" time and put some
entries into my ePortfolio
ps does this count as "reflection?" or is it therapy?
