In the opinion of the esteemed corpus , how long is "reasonable" to
generate a routine referral and get it out the door? Routine in this
context means I have no concern at all that delay will result in pain,
injury, worse outcome etc, say its for hearing aid review due to
perception it doesn't work/fit so well.
Do you have a stated practice standard, if so what is it?
Do you maintain the same time frame even at stretched times e.g
holidays, xmas? (be honest!) and if not what you "stretch" to?
Do you normally backfill secretarial absence?
