Dear Colleagues
Please find attached information on the International Research Institute in Sustainability (IRIS) Seminar to be led by Prof. Stephen Martin, who Chairs the Higher Education Academy’s Sustainable Development Advisory Group and a member of the UK ‘s UNESCO Education for Sustainability Forum, also the co-founder and president of Student force for Sustainability, and has served on the Council of the Institute for Environmental Sciences. The seminar will be co-hosted with Nick Goodman who is the Charity Leader at Studentforce for Sustainability, the organisation which has been advancing, through its highly successful graduate programme, the employability and sustainability of young people in the UK.
The seminar is entitled “Working for a Sustainable Future: A study of graduate employability and professional practice for Sustainability” and it will be held on the 1 April 2011, 12.15 – 1.15pm at the Park Campus in room FW015A, University of Gloucestershire. IRIS colleagues look forward to your participation and to opportunities to extend reflection and dialogue beyond the seminar.
