Heloo all,
Although it is not directly osteoarchaeology-related, my request goes to those that have any experience with the above-mentioned species. My problem is that in our department a baby-giraffe was provided as a casuality from a travelling circus and, as a diploma project for a student of mine, we managed to prepare the entire skeleton (part maceration, simmering, no whitening..so not the best-looking specimens) and we will do the assembly as a departamental museum exibit.
For the diploma we would need also a anatomical description for the bones that we prepared, description that is not possible in this situation (to compare with ...what?).
So those of you who have some anatomical descriptions for the species and can provide it via mail as pdf or something like this will have our "eternal gratitude"....
Thank you in advance!
Alex
PS. soon to come a camel!
