There's another set of images at last year's "saints of the day 16. October" (that being Longinus' day of commemoration in the RM of 2001 as well as his traditional feast day in Orthodox and other Eastern-rite churches):

In this scene, L. presumably is the haloed, richly dressed military figure at far right and not the man holding the spear.
