Arts and Humanities Studentships, Faculty of Arts
Three full-time, three year PhD studentships available from 1 October 2011
Based in Milton Keynes
The Faculty of Arts at The Open University is home to world-class scholars and research groups working across a range of topics and themes. We have funding to support 3 full-time PhD studentships, to commence 1 October 2011. Studentships provide a stipend of £13,590 per annum, cover tuition fees of £3,390 (the rate for UK or EU students) and provide a fund for expenses of £1,000 per annum. Successful applicants will have at least an upper second class honours in their undergraduate degree and will usually have completed (or will complete by September 2010) a relevant Masters degree. Applications are welcome across the full range of subject areas within the Faculty, although priority may be given to applications which link to existing research strengths.
Closing date: 1 March 2011
