Subject: Entry Level Research Scholarships up to #20,000 offered by WOW/RCM/BMFS/RCOG
Are you a graduate Midwife looking for a chance to continue your research training but lacking financial support?
WOW/RCM/BMFS in association with RCOG are offering numerous scholarship of up to £20,000 to enable recently graduated midwives to train in basic science, clinical or translational research in one of three areas spanning:
• pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period,
• miscarriage and infertility
• quality of life surrounding women’s health issues.
If you are looking for further experience or would like to focus your career in one of the identified areas, the scholarship would provide you with the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary funding to further your research. This entry level research scholarship is to provide funds to practitioners to enable them to be exposed to a research environment, or to obtain pilot data for bids for definitive funding.
To apply for the scholarship applicants are asked to firstly review the scholarship guidance and then complete and send the application form by 3.00pm on Monday 7th March to [log in to unmask] and forward the original signed versions to Philip Matusavage, Research Manager, 27 Sussex Place, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4SP. The scholarship consists of a single payment of up to a maximum of £20,000 to go towards salary and/or laboratory costs.
