I am currently investigating how we as Surrey Libraries' Information Service, 'Enquiries Direct' could implement a 'Text a Librarian' service. Could I ask if any public libraries in the UK have done so, if so - how this was achieved and how well used it is proving to be? I cannot find much evidence that public libraries within the UK are actively using this kind of service, which is surprising seeing how successful it is proving to be in the US - Mosio's 'Text a Librarian' service for example, seems to be prevalent in many public libraries across the US: http://www.textalibrarian.com/
