I would agree with OCR. She can only have one AS with the cash in code H172.

Subject: OCR AS Religious Studies
Hi Everyone
We have a student in our lower sixth who is studying towards an AS in Religious studies (cash-in code H172) with units G572 and G575.
However, she already has a certificated AS in the above using G572 and G571, which she did at her secondary school. The teacher is advising her that she can get a second AS this summer. I was not happy with this and phoned OCR, who seemed a bit unsure with their answer. They said that the student can only ever have one AS with the cash-in code H172, regardless of which units she sits.
The JCQ booklet seems to say (if I have understood it correctly) that units can be sat again (the example they use is Biology and Human Biology)and used towards different cash-in codes, but not the same code.
I wondered if anyone had come across this before and how it may have been dealt with.
