Dear Leigh (and everyone)
Any emails you send to change your subscription settings for
evidence-based-health should be sent to:
[log in to unmask]
Sending them to the list has no effect. (Other than sending out a
message to the whole list).
You can see a list of all the commands and syntax here:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/help/subscribers/subscribercommands.html
In this case, what you need to do is send an email with no subject and
with the following as the only text of the message body:
SET EVIDENCE-BASED-HEALTH DIGEST
Note about attachments:
And while I'm at it, can I ask people not to send attachments to the
list? There have been quite a few recently.
The reasons are:
1) Not everyone wants the file, yet it uses up their bandwidth
2) Potential for copyright infringement
3) Potential for virus transmission
What we ask people to do is:
1) Post a link to the file
2) Offer to email it to people that want it
3) Put it in the text of your message.
Many thanks
Douglas
