Thanks so much Robbie - sadly the expensive cases they have allow access to
all the connections and buttons - off to investigate Bub caps as they seem
to even offer an answer over a protection cover. If that fails it will be
hunt the app or develop one!

On the face of it there are two options if you don't want to jailbreak:
o A hard plastic case (that blocks the home button);
o Or develop a bespoke app that allows greater control over the iPad as you
run the iPads in developer mode....
