Hi. Just a small correction on the bibliographic entry. It is:
Wolsan, M. 1982 A comparative analysis of the ribs of ungulates for
archaeozoological purposes. Acta Zoologica Cracoviensia 26(6):167-228.

Subject: Re: [ZOOARCH] ribs/vertebrates from cow and horse?
Dear everyone,
Good wishes for the New Year!
Marian Galindo asked for something on ribs; a valuable publication is:
M Wolsan: "A Comparative Analysis of the ribs of Ungulates for
Archaeological Purposes." Acta Zoological Cracov. 36, 6, 167-228, 1982.
This has good illustrations of the rib articular ends for cattle, horse,
pig and woolly rhino and a lot of other data on shape, size and so on.
