ILR Rapid Data Entry - this piece of software supplements/enhances the ILR workbench.
You can set defaults to flood default values into the ILR where appropriate. But you can also write some rules to look at particular sets of data and to update the learner records with the required values.
This is really helpful when trying to clear volumes of data.
For the example you gave, you would need to have the results recorded in QL then you would run the rule which identify the records for your set criteria and update as per your query.
If you haven't purchased the ILR RDE - but you do have DTC (not sure how long this is supported for) then rules can be designed in this piece of software and flood the learner records for particular course codes/periods

Hi
Thank you for the answer. Sadly my knowledge isn't sufficiently
advanced to understand it. What is ILR RDE? Is the process then run
when you register the achievement or is it like running a rule on the
ILR workbench?
Thanks
Duncan

Using QL - If you have DTC you can flood by course/period. If you have
ILR RDE you can set rules to populate A60 with A59 value if A35 = 1

Hi Elaine
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have the same issue with QL. Can I
ask the same question for that system as well - it is an issue for us
also.
Thanks

Hi all
I would appreciate those of you who use EBS4 let me know whether or
not
your QCF credit achieved field (A60) is automatically populated when
you
progress a learner as completed with full achievement. Ours is manual
in that for ALL learners who finish a course, we have to manually find
the A60 field hidden deep in the ILR set up, and enter in the credit
achieved. I have no objection to doing this for partial achievers
where
only a member of the assessments and achievements team will know
exactly
how many credits a learner has gained and know the qualification
structure and how the credits are split, but see no efficiency in us
having to do this for all full achievers when the data is already in
the
ILR in the Planned credit (A59) field. I am fighting for MIS here to
set up an automatic population, but not getting anywhere. I wonder if
you are having similar problems.
Your thoughts and experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
