Dear Ursula,
It depends on the type of tumors and the size.
In general BET will only be affected by very large tumors or
those near the surface of the brain. FAST is much more
sensitive and will be affected by most tumors to some extent.
So try BET and see if it works OK to start with.
If not then you may need to manually identify the tumor
and "fill" it with more typical brain-tissue-like intensities.
