Dear Colleagues,
The JIA 2011 (www.jia2011.com )is a scientific event held by and for researchers, non-PhDs, in Archaeology, which will be held from 11 to 14 May 2011 on the campus of Gambelas in University of Algarve (Faro, Portugal). I am proposing a session with the theme:
GIS & Archaeology
The session will be an opportunity for the reunion of young researchers in Archeology that are using GIS as a tool in their projects, with the primary objective to provide a space for presentation and discussion of papers which applies the GIS tools to topics as diverse as:
• Cultural Resource Management;
• Spatial analysis and modeling;
• Predictive models;
• Reconstruction of landscapes;
• Demographic patterns;
Those interested in participating in this session are requested to submit their theme of communication and contact details to [log in to unmask] until December 5, so that it can be included in the proposal to send to the Organizing Committee of the JIA 2011.
