Dear Salima, et al: If you want or need information on canid diseases, one
of the best sources of current information is the International Veterinary
Information Service website. Payment/dues for their services is optional
(though appreciated and needed). You have to apply for membership. You do
not have to be a veterinarian or a vet student, however, it is helpful if
you tell them that you are an academician with whatever degree, and that
your reason for wanting to join is to obtain information to further your
research.
Find the IVIS website at: www.ivis.org. I regularly use this site, pay a
modicum of dues, and find it very helpful and beneficial. Wait 'til you
see their search engine and all the literature it pulls up! -- Dr. Deb
