The meeting will be chaired by Ceri Goddard, Chief Executive of the Fawcett Society.
The speakers will examine the achievements and failures of the Equal Pay Act,
which was passed 40 years ago. They will consider whether the approach to narrowing the gender pay gap that it represented can continue to serve its purpose, or whether a new strategy is needed.
The meeting is sponsored by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and the Social Research Association (SRA)
