I'd be grateful for any help on the following issue I'm currently struggling with :-)
I'm using an experimental design to assess the impact of several different factors on attitudes towards quitting smoking. One of these factors is particularly strong and has prompted me to think that maybe I should be randomising the order of the factors to account for order effects.
Considering the research on the role of recency versus primary effects, has anyone come across guidelines or related research which suggests the order of experimental factors in experiments related to attitudes?
Thanks!
