People with an interest in this topic will be aware of Robert Cribb's 2000 edition of the Historical Atlas of Indonesia, as an invaluable reference. I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of Robert Cribb's revised edition of this work, at the Asia Bookroom in Canberra last night.
Apart from continuing to address the paucity of quality atlases for this region, Robert's new edition has the advantage of being in DVD/web form, so there are many more maps (over 500) available. Robert has also generously made the drawn maps available as downloads in various file formats.
