Hi Roger
Casting my mind back, in the mid 1950's there was an experimental peat power
plant, long abandoned at Olgrinmore/ Braehour, some 6 kms north of
Tormsdale. I can recall the mounds of dried, excavated peat. Perhaps there
is a glitch in the Google map.
Cheers

Can anyone tell me what was mined at Tormsdale in Caithness. Google maps
show mining activity.
