Hi:
It is many years since I was there but if my memory serves me correctly,
Tormsdale is a megalith site not a mine site. It is entirely possible that
some roadstone quarries are present or that the site was investigated by the
BGS for uranium in the early 1970's. But unless there has been some
develolpment I am unaware of, there was no base or precious metal mining at
Tormsdale.
Cheers

Can anyone tell me what was mined at Tormsdale in Caithness. Google maps
show mining activity.
