Hi, Ana ~
Pingree relates a series of these, including gemstones,
in Volume II of his edition of the *Yavanajataka of
Sphujidhvaja*, on pages 253-258.
The earliest is that given by Celsus, found in Origen's
*Contra Celsum* 6, 21-22:
Saturn: lead
Jupiter: bronze
Mars: alloy
Sun: gold
Venus: tin
Mercury: iron
Moon: silver
Some of the lists look even more peculiar to the modern
eye, but the series following this, from volume 8 of
Zuretti's *Catalogue des manuscrits alchimiques grecs*,
shows a sequence rather more congruent with our current
planet/metal assignments, in List B:
Saturn: lead
Jupiter: tin
Mars: iron
Sun: gold
Venus: bronze
Mercury: quicksilver
Moon: silver
