I am writing to invite you to participate in a survey held by the School
of Advanced Study, University of London to help us review our
facilities, services and the way we communicate and engage with you.
The School of Advanced Study has a unique mission as the UK's national
centre for the facilitation and promotion of research in the humanities
and social sciences. The Institutes of the School are dedicated to
supporting researchers regardless of their institutional origin and
promoting research of the highest calibre within and across the
boundaries of their specialist subject areas.
You may have had some contact with the School of Advanced Study in the
past, or we may be relatively new to you. Whichever applies, we are
equally interested to hear your views and opinions. The findings from
this research will be used to inform a wide range of initiatives at the
School to improve and develop our service to you.

The data collection process will be conducted independently by Heist in
accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the UK
Data Protection Act, which guarantees your confidentiality and
anonymity. The analysis and reporting of the survey results will be
conducted by Heist and all responses will be treated as strictly
confidential. Your reply will go directly to a secure server and will
not be made available outside of Heist other than as part of anonymised
and aggregated data provided to the School of Advanced Study. Neither
