Out of hundreds of library staff on LIS-Medical. That sort of poor statistical analysis is what started off this thread in the first place.
And I know it may be a controversial view but when my profession is being attacked, I find no problem using work time to discuss it with my fellow professionals. The infamous nightdress issue of 2006 (2005 ? 2004 ?) was probably not the best use of a librarian mailing list but this seems quite appropriate.

There, email written in less than 0.2% of my working day, and email read by others in probably less than 0.1% of their working day... :-)

And then some might say 17 (now 18!) email messages sent on the subject
between 9-5 over two consecutive working days rather proves his point!

Not, I hasten to add, that I am one of them.
