hi Alex
I know you've suggested an individual response, but many of your colleagues may not be aware of an excellent refereed eJournal, certainly one of the most prestigious in the field of academic writing in the Southern hemisphere, the 'Journal for Academic Language & Learning' (JALL). Details at:
http://journal.aall.org.au/index.php/jall
looking forward to many submissions.
cheers
alex

Subject: Journals
Hello to everyone,
I wondered if anyone can recommend the most prestigious journals -
those with the highest impact scores - in which to get published. I'm
thinking in terms of those that publish on academic writing
specifically (e.g. Assessing Writing) and those in which academic
writing would be relevant (e.g. Journal of English for Academic
Purposes). While this might be useful to us all, perhaps it's best
just to respond to me directly. Many thanks,
Alex
