This is at risk of becoming totally political. If it were the case that
no-one suffered from absolute poverty (and I accept that defining that is
both arbitrary and difficult), it would not concern me that there were
simultaneously some 'stinking rich' people around - although I recognise
that there are some political viewpoints which would prefer to see everyone
in a society being 'much more equal'.
